| SAN
MAURO PASCOLI: he is dearly tied to Romagna,
in homage to his poetry San Mauro di Romagna,
(the small town where he was born) is actually
called SAN MAURO PASCOLI. Here we do find his
mother home: CASA PASCOLI, national monument since
1927 with an annexed Museum in which are collected
all the places where he spent his childhood. This
was his “nest” where are collected
all the rooms he lived. In his nest he wrote,
place of dream and happiness that he soon had
to abandon because of the familiar gives and of
the economical difficulties.In the boughs of San
Mauro you can find VILLA TORLONI, where his family
lived until he was administrator of the farm “
la Torre” he came back the faithful “cavallina
storna che portava colui che non ritorna”
here they mourned their father murder. Other famous
town of Romagna, like Rimini, Sogliano and Savignano
on Rubicone were very important for him. This
last place was extremely important, in this period
he was a strong sustainer of the Filopatridi Academy,
an aggregation polo for culture and studies, together
with his friend and master Giosue Carducci who
was his perpetual honorary president.“Zwanin”

voice still follows who decide to take a walk
trough the ancient Cittadelle in Forli, in particular
in Bertinoro, where the poet use to stop to taste.
In all the numerous vineyard the taste of Albana
and Sangiovese

Mauro Pascoli, nice town in the Forli area –
it is a famous tourist centre, as well as it is
famous for the fabric of shoes and agriculture.

town famous for his discussion on the river Rubicone.
Small town full of cultural activities, it is
called the “Athens in Romagna for the particular
fight on the Rubicon Matter

Bertinoro
is an ancient Medieval Borough, famous for the
production of great quality wine, in particular
Albana and the Sangiovese.

Cathedral, Pieve di San Donato in Polenta
